Wing Foiling

Vela Aruba was the first school to introduce the exciting sport of Wing Foiling to Aruba. Feel the freedom of flying across the water with a wing in your hands and a foil board beneath your feet, while enjoying a unique view of Aruba’s beautiful, crystal-clear Caribbean waters from above. Keep an eye out for tropical fish and turtles below, and if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a dolphin racing alongside you. Don’t forget your GoPro!

Our lessons focus on safety and enjoyment first. Your instructor will stay close by throughout the lesson, with a boat nearby to provide guidance and ensure your safety. Want to bring a friend or family member along? Just ask your instructor.

Each lesson is two hours and takes place entirely on the water. You’ll learn how to control the wing, get up on the board, build speed and gradually lift onto the foil. Once you’re gliding above the water, you’ll experience the incredible feeling of moving almost silently across the Caribbean. It’s an exhilarating experience you won’t forget — and one that may have you coming back to Aruba for more.
